- Commissions never change a recommendation, a ranking, or a review.
How Creator Growth Lab makes money
Running a useful, regularly updated education site costs real money: research time, hosting, and the work of keeping prices, fees, and policies current. We chose to fund that without paywalling the guides or selling your data. The table below is the complete list of how revenue can reach us, and what each relationship does and does not influence.
| Revenue source | How it works | What it influences |
|---|---|---|
| Tool affiliate links | Some software links are affiliate links. If you start a paid plan after clicking, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. | Nothing about which tools we list or what we say. Selection follows our stated criteria. |
| Agency referrals | When we refer you to a vetted agency and you sign, we may receive a referral fee. | Nothing about our honest take on agencies, including the red flags and bad actors. |
| Newsletter | The Creator Growth Brief is free. It may occasionally feature a clearly labeled sponsor. | Sponsors are labeled as sponsors and never presented as editorial. |
If you ever see a recommendation that does not match the criteria in our editorial standards, that is a mistake we want to fix. Tell us.
How affiliate and referral links work here
Affiliate links carry a rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute, the relationship Google asks publishers to use for paid or commission links. Internal links between our own pages are normal follow links. We disclose the affiliate relationship near the first such link on a page, not buried in a footer, in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance that material connections be clear and conspicuous.
An affiliate link costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go direct. The only difference is that the tool or agency may share a small portion of what they already earn from the sale.
Our independence from platforms
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OnlyFans, Fansly, or any creator platform. We write about those platforms from the outside, as a creator running a business would, and we cite the platform's own terms and help pages as sources. Because we take no money from the platforms, we can be candid about fees, policy risk, account holds, and the parts that are genuinely hard. That candor is the whole point.
Education, not professional advice
Everything on Creator Growth Lab is educational. Tax, legal, accounting, and financial topics are general information, not advice for your specific situation, and the right answer depends on facts we do not have. For decisions with money or legal consequence, work with a qualified professional licensed in your jurisdiction. We will say so on the page every time the topic calls for it.
- Spotted a fee or stat that looks out of date? Flag it and we will recheck the source.
- Think a recommendation is off? Tell us which criterion it fails.
